I love when they make these multi-part shapes. It would be so cool to see a time lapse over the years of how it developed. Great find and excellent capture, Harry!

In concept, it's a simple shot---just the bottom of a tree, nothing much around it. But you've given it a very powerful presence, contrasted with that rich green carpet. And it feels like an entity unto itself. Your shadow and light on the trunk makes all the tentacles stand out. And the center "V"---which looks like a nice slumber place for small animals---stands out. And the soil, with its little twigs and leaves, feels so basic as the base to this beast. You've cropped it to make it very strong, as if there were nothing needed above. And your detail brings out its age and character. Fine shot. Your last upload was a beautiful sensual rose; this one is an old iron-willed trunk, sitting in dry soil. Two completely different lives, but both are treated with equal love and attention to detail. Beautiful---something not everyone would say about a tree trunk; but with your treatment, it wholly applies. Harry I'm at a little over 1 hour and 45 minutes, I'll have to stop for now. But I think I did 12 today. I have a ways to catch up, but it's a great journey. I wish you a fine day ahead!
