Description
In outer space or inner space, wherever you think fits, I came upon this very strange coloured blob. This is a further evaluation of my earlier abstract, which was fully based on balls. I now modified all but the outer ball (the boundary of my world) into metaballs and relocated them to get something interesting. I also added some anisotropy to the textures.
Bryce 7.1 pro super quality render 16 rpp.

Fantastic! Great colors and lighting. Looks like gummy bears, melted together. ;-) Corrie

Indeed, but a bit more transparent.

Bet this took some time to render.

Not too bad. Only about a night or so. There are not that much elements in there. So, although there are partial transparencies and partial reflections, the time was not too bad. I've had renders with lots of foliage (semi-transparent) that took a week or more! But then, those were done with true ambiance and IBL, which I did not use for this one.
