Description
A still from a starwars fan film I'm working on. It's supposed to get blown up in the first few shots.

Great lighting on the model. It looks too good to blow up though!

um - do you have to blow it up? :) It looks really nice - I like it a lot - especially your atmostphere around the planet :) Many people (including me :P) forget that :)

Very nicely done. If you do decide to blow it up, could you please post a few still frames from the explosion sequence? It would be nice to see how you resolve the geometries when it goes "ka-boom". Thanks. :o)

Nice modelling on the satellite. I like the nebula a lot. I admire your work. Nice job!

hey thanks for all your comments. The satelite base model was a model i got from 3d cafe I think. It consisted of the shaft and the ring I added detail to the model along with the dish and solar panels. All textures were done by me and are mainly procedurals and a few image maps. The nebula was done in cinema 4d using SLA shaders rendered as a high res pic then put into lightwaves texture environment. The same effect could be done with hyper voxels but the render time is a lot more intense. Thanks for all the support and I will post more pics as they get finished next step is blowing it up.

Great work, Cliff. It's nice to see a new pic from you. You should post a few more.
