Description


This wizard was commissioned by a customer .He stood about 15" high and is made from coiled and pinched stoneware clay fired to 1280C, and coloured with iron oxide before the second firing. Photograph of a 5X3" print. Andrea Rankin-Ross Ceramics. (Ceramic Sculpture) See him from the side Here

I had no idea you were a ceramic artist - this is a wonderful piece of work that is whimsical & light-hearted without crossing over into kitsch. And the little clump of mushrooms at his feet are a nice touch too...
