Description

Captured way back on 9/15/06, somewhere around my usual stomping grounds. Quite a bit of postwork required here, because I was in the not-knowing-any-better habit of taking low resolution photos prior to late 2007. Adelis.

A big buttery bloom, very edible looking, and the contrasts of those deep yellows with those rust tinged reds (or deep pinks) is striking. Your postwork, done to compensate for the resolution, actually created an almost painterly look, where the background is somewhat flat and abstract (and beautiful in its own right). It radiates around the flower. This is number 299 in your rose series, yet it still feels new and fresh. Sensual postwork on this non-shy frontal shot of yet another beautiful rose. Maybe I should say "full frontal nudity" because this flower is beautifully exposed.

I had planned to do a longer session, but I'm suddenly being called away. Well (as I look at my clock), I'm at a bit over an hour, so I still did a lot. But I'll be back for more. I'm really trying to catch up, and one of these days it'll happen. I already commented on Rose 300, so at least I've gotten to that milestone. Another great session in your gallery. I'll be back for more soon...
