Description

while cleaning the hornet, I got the dumb idea of holding it and then using a hair blower on it. It ended up being smashed to the ground and the head fell off.. Well anyway, this is what you see after the hornet's head, his neck.

Well, it wasn't that dumb if this was a result. When I saw the thumbnail, I thought i was looking at a photo of a strangely shaped eye. Fascinating macro...

I sure don't have any idea what I am looking at, but it is a very nice design in its own right.

What a hairy little beastie! And beyond its neck, what do we see? Do you have any more left of it so you can take more photos? These are abstract and very interesting! I'm looking forward to more photos of the little beastie! Keep up the good work! :-)

Real weird to see this in this macro. The upper vertibrea shows why these animals can look backwards, because of the muscle on both sides. Very intresting!
