Description

In the 19e century, it was Dr. Sigmund Freud who used the term "narcissism". He refers to the Greek mythological character Narcissus who had turned down so many love advances that he was punished to be in love with his own mirror image. Every human being has a bit of narcissism; the amount has a relation to his/her happiness. People who don't like themselves are most of the time not satisfied with their situation or under value their own importance. People with a high value of narcissism have more trouble to keep their social network alive, because they are often busy with themselves and have less attention for other people. So far my lesson in psychiatry, I'm no doctor, just a 3D artist. In this series I try to visualize narcissism with my regular characters and of course it should be a nice image too. Enjoy the series. The persons on the left sides are not actually there. The sequence is more or less random. Not each of my characters has the same amount of narcissism as you may notice. GRIN. "Falon, is narcissism for you to recognize in yourself?" "Aha yes, I sure like to play with myself. Great fun." Here you can go to the other characters in the serie. thumb_2592022.jpg Thanks for looking at my images and your appreciated comments. Take a good look in full size.

Weeeeeee. Looks like little Fallon is enjoying being tossed in the air like a child. Our self image and the image others have of us are not in alignment. Your series illustrates this theme. One note. Little Fallon seems to have a double chin. Hope your move preparation is going smoothly. As I look at the cardboard boxes mounting up in each room at my home I often think about you. Momving is a lot of work.

That double chin I did overlook. We are counting down from 17 today and it smells the whole day after chloor and soap today. Bah!! Don't wreck your back Fitz.
