Description

Canna Color This is the Canna Lily from yesterday's upload which Jayfar requested. I have about 20 of them (various colors) planted in gravel at the shallow end of the pond and they act as the last leg of the pond's filtering system. I got the idea of using them from when I was in South Africa. Several of the boggy areas had them growing among the bull rushes. Oh, of course the other positive of having them in gravel, is that they are easily dug up, cut right back and stored for the winter after the first frost hits.
