My name is Pete, I started using Bryce back in 2001. I dabbled for a few years then I had a PC crash in 2009 and I lost everything.
Last year I downloaded it again and attacked it with a new vengence. I do not do many scenes, my renders focos on the object created. My work is Dark and Dystopian and mostly involves metals of one sort or another.
Ive been a member here since 2007, lurking, looking and learning. The images I post are things Ive learned from all of you.
My art helps me escape the Madness of Reality
Enjoy.

Wow, looks very cool

Awesome seeing how many objects and the polygon count.

The polygon count really limits my work, around the 1.5 million mark Bryce gets real unstable. At that point I have accept that the Model is finished whether it is or not.

Huge work is visible. Bravo!!!

nice job keeping polys low, some nice skill you are developing/have!

Great stuff Pete. There is actually a market for schematic/blueprint type drawings, your bikes would be an excellent subject for that style. Guys use them to decorate their offices and workshops etc. Maybe something you might consider trying.

Great idea, thank you I'm going to look into that

you are not short on patience by no means. surprising how you manage to model so many in a short length of time. very interesting how you arrive to a finish model
woodywoo
This is not that difficult to do. I used to model for accuracy, but once I eliminated "accuracy" from the equation, that's when 'My' Style took shape. I have a Bryce Library of thousands of parts I've created over the years, Now its just a matter of assembly, and I still create a few new parts each day. If I gave you access to my PC you could build something like this in a few short hours.

What impresses me most is that you've constructed this in Bryce! My Bryce 7 crashes often - maybe it's because I have the Mac version; the last one that worked well for me was Bryce 4 - though I never thought of constructing models like this with it!

My Bryce crashes a lot as well. I "SAVE" after every piece I add. The most stable version I've ever had was Bryce5.
