Spring Brings (A Spring Welcome)
Longing for green fields
Populated with tulips
Opening their mouths
To gentle rains.
The earth in bloom
In meadow and wood
And life itself renewed
Under playful skies.
A landscape singing
With gladness of heart
Through the soft laughter
Of daffodils.
And legions of trees
Bursting forth
In slow motion
Welcoming spring.
