Description


In flower at the moment in my garden. A formal double flower, white with splashes of carmine. We have a heavy frost so some flowers will be spoilt, but there are many more to come.

ok you've seen the pics of snow in my city---can you imagine a flower like this growing here? now? I'm amazed you have growth at all, right now. In any case, this is a beautiful bloom, with almost painted-on strokes across it. And I like the centering of it, and the feeling that it's an iced dessert. A very sweet capture, and a very special flower. It really does look painted or designed... (btw, I've had several interruptions since coming here, which is half the reason why I've only left a few comments. 5 in our morning, and I've had 3 phone calls and a falling shelf...)
