Description
Here we are again it seems, another Doctor Who inspired story, this time focussing on the Daleks' creator and his trial by the people's of Earth and their allies. The story itself takes its inspiration from the trials of real war criminals, both historically and in the present day- and tries to project how a future society may respond. And of course what seems really certain is that such a trial would of necessity be a major spectacle of its time, a meme beyond all others it seems.
Anyway I hope you enjoy the story and if you do or even if you don't you just let me know and post a comment for me. After all it's the only way I'll learn!

Cool !
KatesFriend
Excellent start. Great artwork too. I'll be loking forward to more of this. Trivia Question: Who was the Dalek's first victim?
Redfern
KatesFriend, that first victim was "Ronson" (sp?), a Kaled scientist depicted in "Genesis of the Daleks". He had the duty of examining the medical analysis of the Doctor and Harry Sullivan. Finally accepting the notion they were from another time and place, he also accepted their explanation for their presence, to stop the development of the Daleks. He confided in the time travelers, stating there were several who objected to Dalek project. Tragically, Davros later framed Ronson for the destruction of the last Kaled city, claiming he revealed a weakness in the protective dome shielding the city to their age old rivals, the Thals (an act which in reality, Davros committed, thwarting the government who would have halted his project). Davros used this lie to have Ronson executed on the spot, shot by his new bio-mechanical weapons, the Daleks. Ironically, had Ronson not interrupted an earlier test, the Doctor himself would have been the very first slain by the Daleks. Yes, I am a Whovian nerd of the absurd degree! ;-) Sincerely, Bill

That's perfectly alright- it makes sense to do that way.
