Description

Following on from my previous post this is the visitors area at night. We were stopping over nearby and got to come back here to see the switching on of the lights.

Excellent Jeff, I like the flags, we seem to have a lack of flag waving in this country, probably down to the fact that we mustn't "Offend" anyone, but they can wave theirs and we must not say anything in case we offend them. Jeez! What a crock!!!!!!

Nice shot, Jeff. It must be something to see up close. We Americans are very proud of our history because we know nothing about it. Mount Rushmore sits in the Black Hills which is land sacred to the Lakota (Sioux). It was given to them by the United States under treaty until gold was discovered in the area. Then the U.S. took it back because, you know, gold.

Flags everywhere.... Notice this about the States? I did.. Here, its like a sin, hide them at all cost! Something wrong with our Country I think, its broken.. Shame huh? Great shot (back to the photo, sorry). Well taken Rob
