Captured 4/20/09, again around the neighborhood. No ZOOM necessary in this instance. And, we may be finally getting some rain tonight. Miracles do happen, you know. Ciao.

I saw this when it went up, and I'm actually surprised I didn't comment on the spot: This is guh-lor-i-usss! (That's "glorious"---in case it's not obvious.) Like your other series, you keep reinventing the subject whenever you return; and whenever I think "he HAD to exhaust roses by now," you re-invent the subject the next time around. This is gorgeous. The side view is sensual in the extreme, and the light is to die for. The orangey hues in the center---against that pink? To die for. And your crop is just right, as is the variety of greens and reds behind it---with some sky too. A beauteous image, and proof that this series can go on for years, and never peter out. With my paltry flower offerings, if I can get one flower shot like this before I die, I'll die a happy man.
