A stunning set of shots of this boldly lush and curving fence; fantastic focus and light and the composition rocks in both of them. Well done, Harry!

Excellent photo. I like the upper one the best. It does appear though that it will be in need of a repaint soon.

Well I'm embarrassed to say that this is my 5th image in 50 minutes, and I have no idea why I'm so slow some days. It isn't your work, as I always love being here. It's just that some days I ponder more, look longer, and then take more time getting the words out. I'm sorry! I don't mean to give you such a small number in such a long period. I'll try to write faster... A combo of a straight fence with a curved fence (good pairing). And yes, there's a lot of variation going on here. In the top one, a fascinating wall underneath the curlicues, with grass behind which looks raised up, due to your perspective. (I don't believe it is.) I also like the odd assortment of shapes behind, including, I think, some topiary! The compo is completed with that bleached-light bathing the far left. The second piece is like an amusement park ride, and we get to see the backside of the curls and their shadows. I think of a ride, or what is it---a "luge"? Is that the word? (Ok I looked it up, and maybe luge is the sled itself; but I mean the tube that they ride in.) It looks like a big swooping ride. Fine contrast between the two shots. And how in the world do you get so much variety in one neighborhood? A whole universe. This is what I mean when I write, in my dedis, that you teach us to see better, and to see everywhere.
