Description
When my husband and I came out of the restaurant on the town hall square last Sunday, we found a large chunk of generally heart-shaped ice had been deposited on the stone tiles in front of the town hall. There were only a few shards of shattered ice around it, and it appeared to have been gently lowered to the tiles--it hadn't been dropped from a plane overhead, for example. There was some melting around it. Not much, but it was cold that evening, temperature right around freezing. I have no idea where it came from and I don't see anything in any of the papers. Interesting.
