Description

When Mr. Buck first came to live with us he was just introduced to the girls very carefully. They saw him through the glass doors & in the conservatory for a good few days. They knew he was there but they couldn't get close. I decided one morning when Jasmine & meadow were on their walk to see what Carla 'B' would think of him & he her. I put a collar on her (just in case but she was used to living with cats all her life) I opened the door, Mr. Buck walked in straight upto Carla 'B' & rubbed his body along her front legs & under her chin. She never batted an eyelid, just looked at him & from then on the others were introduced & the rest is history. Thanks for all the lovely comments & favs, so, so appreciated. xxx

I wish my dogs would get along with the cats. They fight like... well... cats and dogs.

Barbara, this is a wonderful photo of them and I very much enjoyed the story behind It. I'm on a trip right now and a bit nervous as my newest little one Teddy is spending his first night without me around.

MrBuck looks just like my Cat Marley. My dogs grew up with cats around them and they often all on the sofa and snuggle. We sit on the carpet as THEY take over the Sofa. pffff 2 Dogs and 2 Dogs and they RULE the house. lol

Cat's and dogs can indeed be good friends which often goes against popular belief. I had a cat and dog and they got on and played together quite often.. fond memories of childhood. This is a lovely capture.
