Description

The "Galactic Gargantuans" project consists of a series of eight large starship designs ranging from about 400 meters long to about 800 meters long. Each ship in the collection serves a different function and is the largest of its particular type. The shapes used for the gigantic vessels are more romantic than realistic in form, having been inspired by science fiction art of the late 20th century. The 3D CGI renderings for the project were created using Rhino 5. CorelDraw X6 was used for the compositing of the images. Final cropping and scaling of the pictures was done using Corel Photo-Paint X6. Viewers interested in seeing all 50 images of the "Galactic Gargantuans" project are invited to visit my hobby website at http://www.dcmstarships.com.
