Shortly after the military leave the scientist's lab, he is inspecting his clones, making decisions about how to proceed with their continued programming. The military officers left a list of qualities they want in the clone soldiers and the scientist wonders how to proceed with the clones to create the effective agents the government/military desire. The clones remain standing at attention as he ponders various methods of further training since he has absently forgotten to tell them to relax. Suddenly, a bluish light surrounds them and in the twinkling of the eye, they are no longer in the scientist's lab, but are in a far different, very strange looking room. The scientist quickly looks around the room. Seeing all the greys in attendance, he quickly deduces what has happened. 'What is the meaning of this outrage?!' he shouts at one of the greys that looks like the one he has been dealing with. 'We observed your work with cloning those two men you abducted. Upon reviewing the details of your work from the mechocta we retrieved from you, we observed several areas of endeavor we hadn't considered before. We wish to examine your two clones to see just what enhancements the mechocta has endowed them with.' 'Well thanks for not beaming us up while the military people were looking at them. That could have been embarrassing for all of us!' 'Silly human. Do you think we would make such a stupid mistake. No, we only wish to see what the mechocta has done to your clones. It appears there is more to these mechoctas than we previously knew about. We discovered them on a long deserted planet locked away in a deep underground facility. They appear to be the creation of a very highly advanced ancient civilization. Our best cryptographers have been able to make out enough of the writing to bring them back to functionality, but we are still in the process of finding out everything they were designed to do.' 'Well thanks for telling me this now!' says the scientist. 'When you left that one mechocta with me, I assumed you were fully aware of its capabilities and that you merely wanted to see how a human would interpret how to use them. I hate to think what could have happened had I not been as careful with it as I was!' 'After our inspection of your clones and depending on what we discover, we are considereing letting you use one of the mechoctas again in your work. It appears working together, we may be able to discover more of the functions of this ancient science and use it to our mutual benefit.' After this brief discussion, the clones are taken by the greys to their examination chambers. They are astounded and very pleased with what they find. After finishing their tests, they decide to release the scientist and his clones and let him use one of the mechoctas again for an extended period of time. 'If he finds as much in the future as he has thus far, this little investment of ours will pay back dividends beyond our wildest dreams!' exclaims the grey leader. M3, M4 and Don characters.
