must be more than one La Porte City. there is one here in Texas not far from Houston. superb urbanscape

This is the one in Indiana, I know there's an old mining town in CA also.

I compared this shot to google street view and was amazed at the differences to details between the two. Subtle but surprising how things had altered between the google 2013 shot and yours

Been going through old photos, this photo was actually taken a couple years earlier than whatever shot google has if the took it in 2013, but it's still after they redid the tank and gave the tower a nice new paint job. The bottom pretty much rusted out of the old one.
