One thing, How is that metallic body bending in such ways?? i see no hinge type body seperations in that curve. I could be missing it, but it looks liek a solid peice of metal work. Anyway great representation of an underwater scene!!!

maybe the scales aren't solid themselves, perhaps there's enough tolerance between them to allow such behavior... nice concept...
