Description

A few days ago I posted a challenge, asking what color the item in the image had. The correct answer is metallic yellow, or gold. The item is a thick foil form for something called ice chocolate, a German and Scandinavian specialty for Christmas. Here you see the 5 colors the forms come in. They are scarcely an inch across. Ice chocolate has nothing to do with ice. Here's the recipe for those who want to try making some (and don't forget to eat it, too. It's VERY good). 200 grams chocolate (solid) 100 grams cocoanut fat Heat the two in a pot on low heat, melting them with constant stirring. When melted, fill the foil forms (best done with a candy funnel or other small funnel). The above recipe will make about enough for 50 forms. Place in refrigerator to solidify. They are then to be kept in the refrigerator or they risk getting soft (and thus impossible to get out of the foil = messy eating!). Peel off the foil and eat! Enjoy! PS - thanks folks for all the comments on this photo quiz and on my T.Rex post! Seems Froggy's Stoodio is recovering from the renegade T.Rex running amok behind the Rendo scenes!

Now you've done it!! There goes the diet. That was not nice of you to tempt Michael! I am going to have to make these this weekend. I think I will eat 2 or 3 and take the rest to work. Well, I shouldn't be the only one to blow the diet!!

Well, that's a very fun, colorful, and yummy answer to the question! And I may just give that recipe a go.... How can you possibly beat chocolate? :-D I think you need to whip up a batch of these yummy bits to keep that errant dinosaur occupied and away from the Frog's gallery! LOL A couple hundred of them (per day) ought to do the trick! :-D
