I am not sure about the Genre - abstract or landscape - its a frozen pond and it was a very cold but beautiful morning yesterday. 4877 x 2897 1/320 sec. / f. 6.3 / ISO 125

So pretty! I grew up with a pond behind my house, and I lament (now) that I had an amazing array of things like this that I never thought to photograph. seeing this takes me instantly back to those days, and the joy of taking my ice-skates out onto a pond, all to myself, when the temperature hovered in the low teens, and hearing/seeing/feeling that odd magic of a cold morning winter stillness. Lovely!

Those tiny hands must be frozen ? and also trying to hold the camera still ?? but what a great result Priska, and something you wouldn't find anywhere, where I am living - maybe closer to the South, Tasmania definitely ! - but it's a long way to get a cool shot like this one, BB
