Description
Once on his feet, the scientist staggers into the bathroom where he splashes water on his
face. He happens to look up and sees his face in the mirror and is shocked at the site.
The rest of his caregivers stand in the doorway and watch his reaction. There is sympathy
in the eyes of the clones. Seeing this, the scientist is once again reminded that there must
have been some residual memories of the abductees transferred to the clones when he created
them. A most interesting development. He makes a mental note to investigate that further.
Not one to cry over spilt milk, the scientist returns to the lab and begins inspecting the
mechocta to see if there was any damage from his little incident. As he looks at the strange
writing on the side, he is suddenly aware that he can understand it. Many of the symbols seem
to come alive in his mind.
He gets out his pen light and shines it in the still open access door that revealed the
button(s) that causes his current dilemma. Looking closely at the buttons, he zeroes in on
the one his index finger pressed. As he looks closely at the symbols on it, the thought forms
in his mind, 'Brain enhancement'!
