Once again, Yves, you've used open space ("negative space") beautifully; your space is as much a 'character' in your pieces as the characters, themselves. Your sense of design is beautiful, here: The woman's head is shown mostly by that single-line hat---a big graceful curve that tapers into space, with a single ribbon on top. The head is shown only with a chin; the neck is shown in a couple of lines; and you've given us a beautiful long torso that fans-out into a gorgeous 19th C gown that sweeps the image at the bottom. Your Eiffel Tower is beautifully placed---and in medium gray, so it stays "in the background," as does your low skyline. The rest is all peace-giving white. A tall, sweeping and graceful evocation of a city of quiet grace; with the feeling of a late 19th/early 20th C Paris, with bright all-encompassing peace all around. Helle's a dear friend, btw, and you couldn't have done a more beautiful image for her. A beautiful piece and dedi.
