Description

Yesterday's chemo IV session, number 3 in the series of 3 as 1 per week. Just finished the three weeks (5 times a week) of radiation. On Tuesday we should learn more at the oncologist appointment about what is next. Likely, more tests to evaluate the changes in my situation, and more chemo or/and radiation to come. Thanks for the prayers. As for telling me that I can beat this, how would you know? This is not helpful. You may hope that I can beat it, but you don't KNOW that I can. Some survive cancer, some do NOT, and lung cancer especially has horrible 5 years survival rates (15%! and 5% for 10 years survival rate). Mind over cancer? There are lots of people with great positive attitude who still died from cancer. And I DO KNOW I am more likely to die from it than beat it, so don't insult my intelligence nor belittle my situation, thank you.

Thank you, all! :) I am doing better overall, I can tell. It is just not easy to see the progress day by day, you know... it has its ups and downs, but on a wider time scale I can definitely see improvement. :)
