Description

In rural Louisiana, the Courir de Mardi Gras parade through the countryside, going house to house. They do chicken runs to catch chickens and collect donations of food and money to be used in the community gumbo that night. If you're lucky to pass the Mardi Gras, they will throw out trinkets as well.
