A rather intense shot, but I was experimenting...
trying to capture the cacophony of a city after a blizzard.

They have the right idea, be out in it! I love the sense of action in this wonderful shot, my friend! And of course, I love all that snow!

When children and tree branches compete yes it's the children's' movement temperament and action that captures this grandmothers heart. Yet as you stated intensity is the drama of the branches. Webbed woven weave ore' o head Reminded of the World Wide Web.

I'm sure it's a big time hassle for adults dealing with traffic, but a blast for the young ones to frolic in. I love the thick frosting of snow on the upper sides of the thicker tree branches & the lightness of the building that provides the background - this photo would have a completely different & darker emotional tone if that was, say, a dark red brick building instead...

do look very cold.

Yes, this is a biggie. Aside from the kids romping knee deep in the snow….snow, what's that?….I find the massive riot of tree branches and twigs most spectacular in this fine foto, Mark.

It has a clean poster like quality which is very attractive.

At the first look it is seems to me a painting of b Brueghel for atmosphere and composition, Modernity and few people have show that is a modern picture. Beuaiful atmosphere !!!!!

Mark, this is a truly marvelous capture that gave me a big smile this morning. The reason for my joy is in watching the kids at play here and wishing everyone could see the world through their eyes. Many of us look up on a snowstorm like this and miss the true beauty contained within. While we view it as a miserable time of year the kids see it as a chance to have fun.

Nice capture Mark. The children playing in the snow brings back memories of the innocent joy of childhood.
