I am a keen animal lover so most of my art does include animals. I was always to be found sketching or painting animals from a very young age, and so after work then marriage, and raising 3 children, then breeding and showing dogs in the UK and Europe plus my animal photography, I got back into art again but this time digitally.
Digital art for me began with photography, my son Steve Pinchbeck (predatron) loved it and introduced me to Renderosity, and in fact joined me16years ago (now2020). Gradually I moved into mixed medium, and photo-manipulation and eventually digital fine-art. I use Adobe PS CS4 extended, and hand paint using Wacom Intuos Pro tablet & pen.
I love realistic art and strive to achieve this when painting, because of this I use photos of animals when I paint, for reference. Many of my own photos are of cats and especially of dogs. I often visited zoos too for the wild animal photography, but also have a few cat and dog breeder friends who allow me to photograph their treasured animals. Many thanks to some friends also who are amazing photographers who allow me to use their wonderful photos of wild animals for reference.
My art features in many household items and also artworks in my Redbubble store. https://www.redbubble.com/people/JaneEden/shop?asc=u

Thank you for taking the time to visit my gallery or my Renderosity store, I do so appreciate it.
I would like to thank everyone who has purchased products from me, I hope you are enjoying creating some wonderful art with them.
Best of wishes to everyone ! :D xx

Jane, I'm terribly sorry for your 2 losses, both very special and very close; and I'm sorry for the weeks you've had to go through, of mourning and slow re-embrace of normal life. A mother and a dog have something in common, which I don't know if I can put into words; but they do...it's a purity, a pure connection, an essence of love...there's something so touching about the love we have for both. I'm sorry these losses happened so close to each other, and I hope their love and spirit stay with you forever. Your image is intimate, very much like looking into someone's heart. I assume the man in the frame is the lover of the woman; and she looks longingly in his absence. (He looks like a soldier of some kind.) And the two animals---as dogs will do---are totally attuned to her feelings; and 'wait' on her, patiently and lovingly. And the image is doused in reds and crimsons, with golds in the center. And a heart beneath the frame, which drips with love. There's a sadness to it---fitting for your great loss---but there's love at its center, which transcends it all...so it's very fitting. I've not been here in a while, but I always see your work, and I'm always aware of all you've been through, and also of your work and all you've done with it. Your work is a testament to your strength and love and overcoming. I wish you love on the journey to returned wholeness after your losses; and I hope that the love they gave you will now fill you and lift you everywhere you go. "From mourning into morning," as the poet said. All my sympathies, Jane. And it's a beautiful image, as always.
