For ANGIE aka RachealMarie ... Happy birthday Angie!!! I am sorry for the delay but I really wanted to dedicate you my most recent scrawls. I have just ended it and I hope that it will please you. O beautiful concept and delivery Yves! I thought she was smoking a cigarette from the thumbnail, which makes it a really cool and subtle transition towards the figures and sunset. Absolutely wonderful :)

the woman on the right is one of your wonderful minimally-painted faces, with very articulate lines and shapes, to create a whole person. Her eye and eyebrow are especially expressive, with a very fine use of intersecting forms. And you have her 'dream' floating out of her, like sheer breath; with the simplest scant lines, suggesting men on a beach in the tropics. All that is against the simplest sun and clouds, bird and horizon...The contrast between her dream and her face is stunning. And, as always, it's done with great panache and simplicity---and yet it's very sophisticated. You know how to use white space. And the light pink in her lips is the perfect touch of color for the piece. As always, it's a consummate and very expressive vision. More first-rate work from you.
