Description

Whenever I do a bird that's already in the 3D marketplace, I approach my project with some caution. My bird has to be a significant step up from the existing marketplace product in order for me to market it. So I approached this eagle project with some trepidation-- I always remember the Zygote/DAZ Bald Eagle 1 being pretty good and DAZ Eagle 2 being even better. They have reigned over the Poser/DS-verse with domination for a dozen years. Even today, I still see countless renders with the eagle confidently soaring in the background, despite it's age. So yes, I am a little nervous giving a public viewing of my Bald Eagle. Rendered in Poser 2014 without any post work (yes, those neck feathers are layered trans-maps). Models: The Glen and Waterfall tool (Nerd3d), Salmon (AM), Rock (rDNA) and Bald Eagle from "Songbird Remix Birds of Prey v4: Eagles of the World"

I don't think you have anything to nervous about. Your eagle is excellent and your creation of feathers is superior to the now venerable DAZ Eagle 2. Beautiful work.

You've pretty much captured the Bald Eagle perfectly and same goes for the Sockeye Salmon. See both of them here in the fall time. Well done!!
