Description

Lady Starlight - The lost movement. Just a small thing to say hello :) A clean VUE render, without postwork. Some music to accompany the image... First a small medley which consists of... Paganini's fabulous 4.th violin concerto(Mov 1).. and, Tomaso Albioni's beautiful Adagio in G Minor Both performed by a young guy on guitar: Click here to experience the guitar medley. The second links is....Tomaso Albioni's beautiful Adagio in G Minor. Performed by a young guy, on violin: Click here to experience Tomaso Albionis beautiful Adagio in G-Minor. For those interested in my personal situation: I had a blood test on January 27. A CT-scan on January 29. and a doctor's conversation on February 6. Good result from all of them. No sign of cancer :) So i am very satisfied about that :) Still i have a lot of pain in my right side, middle back, area. And my right side lower ribs, area. Also my right shoulder. It makes me wonder.. my surgery was 13 months ago. My last chemo session ended in July 2013... and still.. it hurts more. The doctors on the hospital, and my personal doctor.. Believe it is related to joints and muscles. And maybe some nerves getting squeezed. They are still looking into it, and will maybe do a secondary scan of the ribs and my back. I do not know untill January 16. That is on monday. If they will just evaluate the CT scans once more, or do a new CT scan, with different scanner settings. The pain is very frustrating, annoying, and disturbs me in everything i do. I have to eat pain killers every 3 hours.. 24 hours a day... It also prevent me from doing my hobby(VUE renders :)) It prevent me from sitting at the computer for more than 30-60 minutes. To be able to sit for a longer time..i have to eat a lot of heavy painkillers... then i become very stoned... and fall asleep :) I do what i can to keep up with Renderosity, my friends here, and my gallery. That is all i can do at the moment. Lately i started to work a little with Artrage 4 (oil painting) and Blender 2.73(3D models).. because i can run both from my old Laptop computer Even when i lie in my bed :) You can see some of the 3D models i made on the image. The staircase area model, the columns, the tall buildings, the flying seat of the violin player, the flying flowering vines, and of course Lady Starlight V4.. are all models i created, myself. I hope my friends here, and their families. are in good shape, and that life treats. Thanks for any comments and/or faves. them well.

Very interesting image. I am taking my time to soak it all in. Love the flower arrangement (LOL). As for your medical condition, all I can say is hang in there and try to keep a positive mental attitude. Rehab can be the toughest thing you have to do. I am sure everybody here is pulling for you. I know I am.

My thoughts and prayers that the doctors will be able to determine what the pain is from and can correct the problem so you are pain-free Fabulous work on this scene and it fits the two links perfectly

Fabulous image! Glad to know the cancer is gone but hate that you are in so much pain. Hope they figure out how to fix that so you can get off the meds or at least cut way back.

Lars, I wanted to wait until tonight to respond to this presentation so nothing could distract me. Before focusing on this superb image let me take time to say how happy I am to hear that the cancer is not showing up. That is a huge hurdle to get over and a step in the right direction. So sorry to know that the pain you are going through is still so intense, and it sounds like the pain pills are a must right now even though they keep you away from what you love. I'm going to say a prayer to God thanking him for guiding the surgeons hands and getting the cancer out of your body, and then pray for him to guide them into finding out where the pain is coming from and dealing with it. Now let me say how amazing this image is and compliment you on going all out here. The 3D models you created are wonderful and help to bring this work of art to life. Without a doubt this is one of my favorite images you've created ever, and I love how expressive the characters are throughout. Thank you also for providing us with the links so we can get a feel for the inspiration behind the image. Keep well my friend, you are in our prayers.

Amazing work as always my dear Lars, and as ever love the music Adagio in G minor being one of my favourites of all time. I am so pleased that the cancer has disappeared, but sorry to hear you have lots of pain still. I know what it is like to suffer pain on a daily basis, but also know that music and art can help take the mind away from it to a degree. Like you I find it difficult to sit too long at the computer, so I truly empathise with what you are going through. Take good care Lars, hugs Jane xx

Dave's prayer is beautiful, and I know that Jane has had a lot of experience with pain, so she can empathize deeply. As I've said before, I'm deeply happy that they found no more cancer. And you know, in the long fight to get rid of the cancer, maybe they just let the pain and muscle-strain 'go'. And now they want to treat it, at last. You've really had no chance to heal the injury to your muscles and back, etc. I hope they give you the physical therapies you need, to get the rest of your body back to wholeness...after all, your body went through a lot, and now it has the right to heal, too. I'm so sorry for the continuing pain, and I wish you all the best in bringing it back to wholeness and health. This image is another of your mythic journeys: The violinist---a recurring figure in your work---is playing to a host of mythic creatures, ie, tree gods and goddesses, masks and faces from ancient civilizations, relics from other worlds, etc, and she seems to be changing their serious gazes into sweet music. And your wreaths---they just fly into the air and swirl up-and-down, and fly go right into the buildings---an amazing concept! And the violinist is suspended in air, above all the masks and relics, as if she's the transcendence to them all. With those buildings on each side (and a pillar and some stairways), we can really see your experience with architecture. It all feels very hopeful and transcending. (And you have one of your dragons here too, who seems to be having a good time!) I commend you for making this from your own models: I know that's hard, esp with how hard it is for you to sit at the computer for long times. And your models are really fine. And the music was amazing---I know of both works, but the renditions: The Russian guitarist does a terrific job with excerpts from both compositions; and the violinist---he's really good, with beautiful phrasing---did a moving job with the Albinoni. I don't know if he's a concert violinist (I've been away from that world since I stopped playing classical piano some years back), but he's awfully good. And I'm a big fan of re-interpreting classics, so you won me over with these. Your image feels like beautiful music rising above everything...I send all my wishes and prayers for your full recovery, and for the day when your pain will lift for good. You deserve it, and I wish it with all my heart. All my best to you, Lars.
