Description

remember that pink panther movie when the inspector asked if his dog bites. had that running though my noggin when i made this. i appreciate the comments and visit my friends. have a super weekend.. TGIF! Happy Valentine's day Tomorrow everybody. so i get my new 4 i gigs of ram cards, install them and tried rendering a image that crashed with the 2 gigs i had, same thing crash out on render. so i check sytem info on the ram says on i have 3.29. so i call my friend Rick over, we took all cards out and put in one by one and rebooted computer on each card and port for them/ all checked out good when cards were single showing i should have 4 gigs, but when all cards are in i get the 3.29. he says my system for some reason is not reconizing all 4 gigs. ??? CRAP! go figure.. i had mega trouble rendering this. i ended up rendering it at 1100 x 628 or so. about the lowest resolution image i have done in 5 yrs. i saved it as a png and pasted onto the larger bg for the size it is now. thanks again lol Steve Credits: MDD Elphien by: Maddelirium Greek Fantasy Hair by: StudioArtVartanian Blue by: CHK2033 Essential Floors by: Fabi Halter Top by: RPublishing & Rhiannon Dream Girl Pose by: Lunchlady ABC Over the Moon BG's by: Bez & Antje

This is beautiful! Computers are great when they work and royal pains when they won't. Hope you get it all straightened out soon. BTW, that movie is one of the favorites here.

3,29Gig sounds about right, remember 4Gig is total RAM but like I said before Vista, Se7en, 8 all Win OS's after XP take almost a Gig to run leaving just over 3 free RAM available for Projects. Can't believe Poser doesn't keep track of how much Ram a scene will approximately need to Render, most good Fractal apps and MoJo keep a running Tab of RAM you will need to keep you out of the Crash Zone. Peace

That scene you are talking about is one of the funniest lines in a movie. There is something about which OS you are using as to how much memory the computer recognizes.

Very cute scene one thing that might help you is if you get an external HD and dedicate it as extra Ram - I did this on my old computer (PIII 450 with 346 megs of Ram) and it made rendering fairly smooth. But listen to what the others say

Nice! The wonderful thing about technology, it never does exactly what it is supposed to do.

Gorgeous Fantasy Lady! Very beautiful image! While you have physical 4GB, a 32bit OS (Windows XP?) will only show what it can recognize, in your case 3.29 GB.

Despite the issues, you've put together a delightful and well done image, Steve! I think the puppy needs a teensy bit of house-breaking guidance, though! LOL Yeah, now that you mentioned it, I'm remembering that the 32-bit version of Windows only recognizes a tad under 4 gigs - what you're getting sounds about right. I've been using 64-bit for a long time, so I completely forgot about the limit in 32 bit. Still, you're getting awesome results with what you do have!

A very cute image Steve and the tiny dog too! Computers are designed to drive humans crazy and force you to update again and again! They are programed to make you update and update and.........

No flag advertising there as we can glimpse some "imaginary things" by panties' slackening ? Funny depiction : really like her face mood ! lol (From here, 32go of RAM but only 16 in use as "Windaube 64 bits" is only the Home Edition, not the Pro one : thanks Bill...if you hear me, please just imagine the "flag langage advisory"...) :-D
