As you can probably guess, I've been out of it for a while, but I'm back and I'm glad for that. This is an excellent, elegant, really evocative image. I love the spare quality that it has and the clean feel this has. As usual, I think this is brilliant.

I like the atmosphere with the fog. Quiet and sleepy in this season. And three sisters with her unruly hair before they wake up in the spring back to life. GREAT image.

another of your interpretations of the world through the camera...a beautiful use of white and black, even though the white is actually blue-gray, and the black breaks into grays with blueish tints in it. It's a multi-coiored image, just very few colors. The three 'sisters', with the outer ones leaning outward (a wonderful sight by itself) are highlighted by you into an oasis, a place of stark life in the midst of all that white. We assume the white is snow, though, in your hands, it could be whited-out ground, as your imagination works in many ways. It's definitely not summer, let's put it that way. And the grayer trees in the background---one group darker and the back group, light gray---are like whispers. And fine use of ground poking-through---little slivers of black and gray throughout the snow. And, with Andrea, I too love the birds as sole journeyers in this strange desert. I don't know how you do it, but you make desolate scenes feel full---full of promise and full of memory. So this desolate scene feels like it contains something powerful inside. Beautiful work with few tones; and a mystical interpretation of 3 trees. Another jewel from you, Nikolay.

The loneliness of a winter's day captured so well here ... surrounded by these three whispering trees - wonder what they have to tell each other ? maybe wishing for the sun to come out again ? or simply gossiping about the other trees, most likely the young guns in the background and wondering when they will be asked to dance with them ... ah, my imagination takes a big leap here ;)) cool image Nikolay, - another winner in my books !
