Description

Not the most imaginative of titles, but I couldn't decide what the story is here. And rather than tell you, "It's about whatever you want it to be!" while waving my hands around in some mystic fashion, I'd rather have a title that at least gives you a jumping off point. I'd contemplated a story that would illustrate good guys can wear black, because if it's good enough for Chuck Norris, it's good enough for me. And as for explaining who these three are; well, they could be your average scum-of-the-earth type. But they could also be bounty hunters, mercenaries, law enforcement for the town behind them. Or perhaps she's a princess hoping to go adventuring without getting recognised (that would explain the hair and outfit). Who are they looking at? Who knows. Maybe it's Chuck Norris. Anyway, despite it being a pretty simple scene, there was quite a bit of work went into this one. Mostly because of me being indecisive. The female character is Gia, from Daz's Generation 6 line of characters. I wasn't wowed by her when I first got her, hence my doing bugger all with her until now. But I had a play with her again and was quite impressed with some of the details. And I've always liked my women to be more muscular, so I figured I'd throw her in an image. I think she came out looking pretty badass. The three trees are Xfrog plants, and were responsible for about half of the thirty nine hour render time. The fur was painted in Photoshop by me using some rather nice fur brushes. Probably not the best bit of painting you'll see today. But remember in 2012 when that old woman took the 19th century Spanish fresco without asking, and returned it with Jesus looking like a refugee from the film, 'Pink Floyd: The Wall'? Well, my painted fur isn't that bad. Holy mother of cowflaps, that was some bad painting on her part. Bloody funny though! Created using Daz, Vue Complete 2014 and Photoshop for postwork. Thanks for looking, and thank you very much for any favourites :)

Love the composition and characters (all three are bad-ass looking) but the lighting and shadows just steal the show. Outstanding render!!!
