time for just a couple right now, claude, but I wanted to say something about this and the next upload. Yes, as a realistic capture, the next version is more balanced and toned-down to a real-life feel. But I like this one for its meta-realistic qualities, even if you didn't intend them. The ultra sharpening, to me, brings out a pulsating atomization, which makes it feel as much about energies as about an actual waterfall. It makes the water seem almost like silk. It depends on what one is looking for, I suppose; in any case, I like them both, but for different reasons. And this one is a bit flatter too, because of the light-dark play across the image. I like that because it's painterly, and it brings out the energies more than the trees. Just my opinion, for what it's worth...

The sharpness adds a great deal here. In this particular case to me anyway it kinda the entire scene scream with the sound of roaring flowing water. I like the more realistic version as well for entirely opposite reason, its seems more serene and quiet.
