The same photo as my previous upload with a little post work, done in the Gimp.
I have been away the past week, with my husband, on a lovely vacation to Williams, Arizona. We did a lot of sight seeing, a little hiking, and of course, i took too many photos. I have only just returned, so I haven't had time to check them out. Hopefully I got a few good ones ( I am becoming pickier and pickier) ... I did decide that I want a wider angle lens for landscapes :) I found an inexpensive one that looks promising. I have it in my Amazon cart, just waiting for me to click buy. ;)

Click it! Ultra wide lenses are not only good to get stuff in a 1.6 crop area, they are a ton of fun too. "( I am becoming pickier and pickier)" Very glad to hear it, the mark of a good photographer is to see the lame ducks and throw them out, you should see some of the stuff I throw out. I do set my bar high, and I am glad you feel the same, welcome home Melinda, and this is a great bit of post processing.
