Description

NarieFah was unaware that she now possessed one of the lost Green Dragon eggs. It had for a millennium remained concealed in the dragon skeleton and protected by powerful magic. But now the magic's power was almost gone, so when the spells sensed that NarieFah was an Elven friend they released the egg into her keeping after showing her the vision. But NarieFah had never seen a dragon egg before and mistook it for a curious glowing stone. She thought it a grand discovery and the pale green glow was very comforting to her, especially on that first night after the scary vision. She did not know only the female dragon eggs glowed and that this was the only one that had survived. It was for this reason this particular egg had been taken to each site. For it is unique among the female dragons their ability to remember experiences before they are hatched. So NarieFah had not just discovered a lost egg, she had discovered the key to finding all the lost eggs. But now that the egg was no longer hidden both the egg and NarieFah were in danger. For there are many creatures in this wilderness, those that crawl and those that fly, and not all are friendly to Elves. Some made it their business to watch NarieFah so they could trade this information for some treat, or some trinket, that they desired. Word of the discovery had already started to spread. Still deep in the northern wilderness, NarieFah was on her way home when she makes another more chilling discovery. A band of heavily armed Orcs headed for the Elven Forest. This was totally unexpected. "The orcs should not be here," she thought. "I was foolish not to take a companion, now I have no way of sending a message and I'm still far from any help. But I am an Elven Scout sworn to protect the Elven Lands and I must find a way." Then in a small voice, "but how?"

beautiful tale. I love your elfs characters. Excellent render and textures. The materials are nicely applied and I like that warm lighting. She wears a nice outfit and it is a nice pose too.

As usual I am late in commenting because I have returned to the piece several times to study the detailing of the render and try to imagine how it is all put together. I therefore, very much appreciate the bits and pieces of information you dole out on how you are making these scenes. Realistic trees have especially drawn my attention, and they are well showcased here. I admire people who can write clearly, lucidly and tightly. You have this storyteller's gift. It does not take you all the many words to light up a scene in the readers mind.
