I was having a terrible time catching the beautiful sparkles in the ice. I finally went out after dark and took this with a flash.

Oh, MY! How unusual, freezing before they drop. You did right in waiting for night time (must have been very cold!). I assume you took some more photos than just this one - any chance of seeing more? Thanks for posting! This could make a good poster for a wall. :-)
