I seriously need to catch up and I plan to; I hope to. Having said that: I'm glad that I've seen this image. It's incredibly rich, incredibly evocative! I love shadow puppets and this evokes the best of shadow puppet dramas: old myths, old folktales involving heroes and heroines, dragons, demon spider monsters, or very unusual foxes. This image captures all of that and imparts a mood all its own as well. The Cool, largely nocturnal colors are absolutely brilliant and the silhouetted character speaks volumes. You worked so well with gesture in this image and though the whole thing is static, there's a wonderful dynamic between motion and stillness here, although the whole thing is still. This is really wonderful work and it tells a story eloquently
