Description

During the latter stages of the war FFI (French Forces Of The Interior) was a formal name given to the French Resistance fighters as France went from being an occupied to a liberated nation. Many vehicles were used, some captured German and some French that had also previously been used by the occupying forces and were hastily painted with tins of paint and brushes for identification. This is Alain and Eric's wonderful Traction model that I've textured to look like one of the cars of the time. The Nationale 7 store has also some recently uploaded models for Vue including a couple of very nice Berliet trucks so go and take a look. Thanks for looking, Mike.

I like the point of view and the quality of the render. I appreciate your documentation; because many french resistants used Sten sub machine-guns, They were notable for having a simple design and very low production cost making them effective insurgency weapons for resistance groups. Near my home, a british aircraft crashed on a mountain while trying to parachute weapons ( including Sten ) for a big group of resistants on July 14th 1944. 7 British and Canadian died to help the french"Maquis du Nistos". Their graves are located near the crash point. They are honoured every year for the anniversary date of their death.

Ca c'est du taf d'enfer ! FFI !
