It's that gap, in our creativity, that some thoughts just don't have the energy to cross. You know... those half-finished projects that are cluttering up our runtimes and hard drives. Those great ideas that were lost before they ever got on to paper. (or Wordpad) All those times that we were sure we'd still remember our mid-night-idea in the morning... It's all because of that gap. Right there.
