Description

OK. So got a little bored modelling last night. Decided to pass the time watching bad acting in "Mulaney", and doing some basic shading on the character in Maya. This is completely done with Maya mia_car_paint_x_passes shaders. No texture maps, displacement or bump maps whatsoever (Primarily because I haven't made the UV set yet). But I just wanted to see how it would look with the ol' Ferrari Red and rich Gold.

Are you going to convert it from Marvel Contest of Champions proportions to something that will fit a Poser figure?

This isn't a figure conversion. I used the original image planes from the character, to model this one from scratch, in Maya. So with that said, right now, the proportions are neither. Its original intent is for Maya users. Once I'm finished, have completed the UV Mapping, the rigging and the weight painting, then I will decide if I want to port it to Poser (Most likely I will) But it will not be as an add-on to Mike & Victoria - Or whatever the Genesis figures are called now. It will be a stand-alone figure. Zikeo and I already went that route once.

Hard surface modeling is a tough gig, this is excellent !!!

Thanks brother. Yeah, I do both poly and NURBS modelling, and use a lot of Mudbox for detail work, for both VFX and animation. Its what took me away from the Poser community 10 years ago. But I still love it as much now as I did when I first started. Thanks for looking. Always appreciated.
