Hello friends. I am back. :)
I have missed you for a while, so now it is about time for a Comeback ;-) Havent got many new photos or much new art, but I hope I can keep up with something. Have still plenty of shots from the Rhine tour, so I can bore you with them, if not with anything else :-P But here are some roses, if you cannot see what it is. Made with acrylic Decoration Paint I bought in a big store called Stark. Not an art supply store. I love the cream-like consistency. Just had to try it out.

We had changing weather today. Just now it is only 5C and a little windy too and we saw the sun for an hour or so this afternoon. :)

It's so nice to have you back! I hope you enjoyed your time off; and what a triumphant return! I love this! The first thing I noticed was the brush strokes: they're so relaxed and so filled with personality. I was talking to a friend: he was telling me about Valentin Serov: he's basically the guy that started the whole movement of Russian Impressionism. (He was also extremely good looking if his self portraits are accurate, but I digress...) Anyway...Serov composed so much out of nothing but brush strokes, and that is what I thought of when I saw your roses, although I also thought of real roses and the way that they smell, the way that the petals feel between the fingers...and I love the way you've captured so much in this image. It's a nice bouquet of roses and a wonderful bouquet of brush strokes and a lovely dance of color. It is a static image: nothing is moving, unless there is something wrong with my computer screen, but it's so alive and in a way, it dances. I really like this image, and the composition is really nice!
