Description

Crows are one of the most intelligent of the birds and are absolutely fearless. They will sit and stare at you while you take pictures of them which is really rather considerate of them. Mind your lens caps. They are also pretty skilled thieves.

Oh .. I agree with you. So far, I know crows let drop walnuts from the air, so that they break asunder. I watched last year the advanced version. Crows put nuts in red at traffic lights - and wait until the cars drive over it!!!! LOL Great portrait of a clever guy!!! He watching you....

Every time I see one I think of the movie of the same name... then I think of Brandon Lee and how he was taken far too early, just like his dad... I feel a bit sad now... Great shot though.

Fabulous and cool capture Mark! between the Crows and Ravens - if they ever got together - they'd make Alfred's movie seem very, very tame!

An absolutely top class photo, a masterpiece! Our crows drop clams etc onto the prom to smash them, a trick they learned from the gulls. This is SO good, Mark!

Don't you just love their black and shiny feathers, so smartly dressed ... and cuts a fine figure here, and here is where ours differ from yours - they take off as soon as they spot a human, very difficult to get a decent pic of them! We have this family of Torresian Crows visiting and cruising around our property daily and never missed a day in over 12 years ... you know when they are near 'cause they are unmistakably loud and noisy, waiting for some sort of leftovers ... BB apropos your school-reunion - you will enjoy it, so let your hair down a bit ;) and despite that some are missing, which I can understand and is so sad.
