Description

I can't remember where the palm came from but I applied the materials. The palm in the centre was instanced 454 times, the small temple with the columns I made years ago. The ambient light is from one of my HDRI, the key light by the sun. IBL quality 128, soft sun shadows, premium render with 16 rpp needed in normal priority 1 hour.

Utllizzo Bryce dalla relise 4 ed ancora oggi trovo difficoltà a gestire le mappe di trasparenza , in special modo con le foglie degli alberi , cosa che tu hai qui realizzato magnificamente. Ottimo lavoro! I use Bryce from relise 4 and I find it ,even today, difficult to manage the maps of transparency, especially with the leaves on the trees, what you have here created beautifully. Good job!

Thank you. Get this free leaf from Rashad Carter at http://www.bryce5.com/details.php?image_id=2040 and look how you can make a leaf translucent in Bryce. That's how I did it. Another method is to set transparency to 50% and transparent colour to match the leaf. If you have leaves that are pictures, you need transparency to cut the leaf out and the transparency channel can't be used for translucency. But it works for any leaf that is a real object, a mesh.
