the whole scene made with blender 3d
uses :
ivy generator
particles system for grass (3) and for rocs along the cliff (1)
sculpt for cliffs and ruined structure
scatter volumetric material for atmosphere.
render with blender cycles. 1000 samples used CUDA GPU render time : 1h22

Un train saisit il y a bien longtemps à sa station, victime d'une apocalypse inconnue. Heureusement, on dirait que la Nature a repris tranquillement ses droits, sans ennuis ;) Une jolie scène de post-apocalypse je dirais. Passe une bonne journée!

C'était sans doute le train de la dernière chance, celui qui devait mener vers l'espoir... mais le destin en a voulu autrement, et il est resté en gare, peu à peu rongé par la rouille, peu à peu envahi par la végétation... Une image impressionnante et nostalgique, et un superbe travail, bravo, Pierre!

Eh' bien cher Pierre, ça c'est un travail vraiment fantastique, si on laisserait parler ce vieux train, il en aura certainement des histoires terrifiantes a nous raconter, nais peut-être aussi quelques histoires qui nous rechauffent le coeur (mon dieu mon français est devenu misérabe)!!!!!

Nice work! Ivy generator is a great little program. Eight years since its last update and it still works perfectly. And I really miss Blender's particle system. It was so versatile!

Tiens ? Si cela représente "NOTRE futur" comme le souligne Gaius, comment ne serions-NOUS pas là pour le voir ? :-D Car pour l'exemple, ici au présent, je vois le futur de quelques uns du passé, de même que le mien ! Hop, trop tard, j'ai laissé passer le train précédent qui s'en va vers un au-delà qui revient en cycle... Et c'est ainsi que je la boucle pour m'en retourner au train-train quotidien qui m'entraîne vers demain... Donc, cette image futuriste est bien une représentation du passé pour qui la découvrirait en son réel présent : s'il l’atteint ! ;-)
