Another classic Zam image. Don't get the references to Australia in the comments though. Are you from or in Australia at the moment?

You have to read the stories to understand the reference. The Moeth Alliance has founded House Eagle, and are no longer Raven citizens, they are now House Eagle, and waiting for the 'The Eagle' to appear. They have signed an Alliance Treaty with House Struthio of the southern island continent on Darai, called Struthio. Struthio is modeled after Australia, and House Struthio is modeled after the Australians. The Struthians are fiercely independent and co-habitat with another House on the Struthio continent, called House Cassoway. There are now three Houses in Struthio, The Cassoways along the northern shore of the continent, The Struthians along the southern shore, and the Eagles along the western shore. The Demonians are temporarily moving into the center of the continent, which of course is too hot for any Daraian House to want to settle there, being that it is very much like the 'outback' of Australia. Oh, and of course, what is a Struthio, and a Cassoway. As we know, all Daraians have a House bird, and each race of Daraians are named after their House bird. Struthio is the scientific name for an Ostrich, an ornery and feisty flightless bird from Australia Cassaway is a renaming of Cassowaries, a rare and fierce flightless bird from northeastern Australia. The Struthians and Cassoways, after the example of their House Birds, do not wear glider wings like other Daraians.

Ah, its making a lot more sense now. Unfortunately i've fallen way behind on your stories. This is the first chance in months i've had time to comment more than just "nice work" on the Renderosity Gallery. I think it was November last year i did my last render :-(. At the risk of sounding a little nerdy, i think emus and Cassowaries are no longer classified as part of the struthio genus. I also know that they have nasty kicks, and it hurts when they peck you ;-).
