Description
This rose is dedicated to my good friend Lars, who is fighting tenaciously against cancer.
He is a strong and brave man, he is not breaking down by this bad situation.
But he needs our prayers... you want to do it with me and with all his friends?

Your photo is delicate and beautiful. And you've postworked it so that it seems like fine glass, or like a bas relief set against rich black, for contrast. It's beautifully done. It almost looks like stained glass. A wonderful job, flattening the leaves and petals until they become an artwork of their own. And you've used white 'outlining' very effectively too. I also like that you left all that black space around the flower and leaves---light in the midst of darkness. A beautiful image and wish for Lars; and yes, I join you and everyone above in sending my prayers and wishes to Lars, that he get through the ravages of his illness, and move well past the predictions some doctors gave him.
