Description
I was sitting at the bar in a small town honkytonk. Weekday, early afternoon, almost empty, just me, and her, at the other end of the bar. Looked like a hard life....and the muse struck.
"She arrives in all her splendor
Every night at nine o'clock
And her chariot is the crosstown bus
That stops right down the block.
